Radish

Radishes are typical spring and summer vegetables, but we can find them in our local stores almost all over the year.
Hypocaloric but rich in nutrients at same time, radishes are tubers that should more often be used in our dishes, as they are rich in vitamin C and B, magnesium and iron.

These small red and white vegetables have an excellent cleansing and detoxing action on the whole body but mainly for our liver and kidneys. The radishes improve the fat digestion and the diuresis.
It is an excellent remedy for those who have digestion problems or intestinal fermentation.

Recently, the radishes have been discovered to be a natural remedy against anxiety as some B group vitamins (i.e. folic acid) contain relaxing effects and promote a good sleep.
